LIFE ON THE HASH FAMILY FARM
Our story
It all began with a former Marine/current firefighter and a midwestern nurse. Johnny and Moya met through mutual friends at a party one night and hit it off almost immediately. Not too long after, they merged their lives together and started a beautiful family.
Now Johnny is a full-time farmer and Moya is a successful Nurse Practitioner. They have two beautiful children, Quinn and Johnny IV. They have worked hard to build a successful working farm that serves the greater Hampton Roads area.
You can come alongside the Hash family on their regenerative farming journey by supporting their family and feeding your own family well through the services they provide.
One thing you’ll learn quickly about the Hash’s is that after a few minutes together, you feel like you’re part of the family too — and that is just how they view their customers — FAMILY.
Farming with love.
It isn’t just the dream of the Hash family to supply you with meat and hay. Their dream is to create a partnership and an experience for each customer. Whether you’re stepping into the Farm Store or having a load of hay bales delivered for your livestock, you will walk away feeling closer to your food and better understanding how regenerative farming practices aren’t just good for the environment, but for the building of community as well.
“You, as a food buyer, have the distinct privilege of proactively participating in shaping the world your children will inherit.”
